Ergonomic Workplace and Home Assessment

Service Description

Our ergonomic assessments help people experiencing pain, discomfort, or an injury related to their work tasks. An occupational therapist will work with you to understand your work setup, identify risks, and recommend practical solutions to improve comfort, safety, and performance. During your in-person assessment (approximately 1–1.5 hours), the occupational therapist will: - Conduct an interview to understand how you use your workspace and how often - Review your work tasks and routines - Examine your work environment and setup - Evaluate any equipment used as part of your role - Complete standardised assessments where relevant Following the assessment, a detailed ergonomic report will be prepared. This report includes: - A written summary of your interview, observations, and workplace reviewInterpretation of any standardised assessments completed - Practical recommendations for both the employee and employer that help reduce risk of injury and improve overall wellbeing at work - Report preparation is billed separately and varies depending on the complexity of the situation.
